Auchenflower Cottage is a traditional stone built detached cottage with wonderful scenic views looking over the unspoilt countryside of South Ayrshire in Scotland. Situated on a working beef and sheep farm, the cottage was the former dairy house dating back to 1860. This area is ideal for country pursuits. It is close to the small friendly coastal village of Ballantrae with good local amenities.
This holiday home comfortably sleeps 6. Within the self-catering cottage, we have 2 large upstairs bedrooms providing comfortable accommodation for our guests. Both bedrooms are family rooms. One with a King size bed and a single the other a double with a single bed. Both rooms have hanging space, chest of drawers and shelving. On the ground floor there is an attractive large lounge leading from the entrance hallway. This has a feature fireplace, large window seat overlooking the country views, Sky television with DVD player as well as comfortable seating.
The holiday cottage has a large fully equipped kitchen with seating area, electric cooker, washing machine, fridge and microwave. All crockery and cutlery included. The bathroom is fully fitted with power shower. The back door area has hooks for outdoor clothing and space for wellies or walking boots. There is also a small utility room with tumble dryer and freezer. Outside, the large lawn area has garden seating. A lockable shed is available for storage of bikes, outdoor clothing, fishing rods etc. Oil fired central heating is provided throughout the cottage which is included in the price. Duvets, duvet covers, bed linen, towels and tea towels are again included in the rental price.
